Tossing of the garter or "flinging the
stocking," as it was known, has its roots beginning around the 14th or 15th century
in an old English ceremony. It is said to bring much good luck to the
recipient. Continue the tradition with a garter created just
the way you like it. Styles range from traditional to fun and flirty.
You choose the options to make your garter
unique. Add your monogram, wedding date, a charm,
crystal buckle or sparkles to make your garter your own. Make your ideas come to life.

Traditional
This garter is created
in the satin color of your choice with a bow accent.
Select from a single or double row of gathering accented with bow.

Monogrammed
Monogrammed garters feature your
choice of a simple patch or a fun custom covered button with one, two or three
letter style for a unique touch. Prefer a design instead of a monogram? We can

Specialty Fabrics
Your garter can also be made from other fabrics
at your request. Specialty fabrics include silk,
prints, fabrics ordered to match your dress or your bridesmaids’ attire can also
be used. We’ll be glad to use your fabrics. Contact us with your ideas
and let us help you make them a reality.
Specialty fabric garters are not available for
rush service as these fabrics must be ordered to meet your request.

Satin and Lace
Traditional lace garters are offered in white or
ivory with a bow accent. Other satin colors
available by special request. Lace styles may
vary depending upon availability. Monogrammed buttons may be added to lace
garters for an additional charge.

Extras and Add-ons

Date patch
Add your wedding date to your
garter. A small patch will be prepared and stitched to the inside of your
garter. Due to size limitations only numeric date formats and block or
script fonts are available for this feature.

Charms
A great way to show your personality. Most charms are
available in sterling silver. Please list first and second choice in
notes, as charms are ordered per your specifications, some charms may require
additional production time.

Swarovski Crystal Buckle
Bring a little sparkle to your garter with a Swarovski crystal buckle.
Choose from square or round styles.

Scattered Crystals
Need even more sparkle? Swarovski crystals will be
scattered along the front of your garter.

Swarovski Crystal Heart Charm
A sparkling crystal heart will catch the light as it dangles from your garter.

Want more color? A second color ribbon can be sewn
to the the lower edge of your garter.

Garter Sizing
All sizes are approximations
as each garter is handcrafted and can vary
slightly.
Average size
garters are about 14-15" around. This garter will stretch fairly
comfortably to approximately 20-21” around. We
recommend moving up to a plus size garter for comfort if you are close to the
top range of these measurements.
Plus size
garters measure about 16-17" around and will stretch comfortably to
approximately 26-27” around. If you need a special size, we are happy assist
you with making a garter that stretches comfortably to your size. Simply select
“other” when choosing your size and indicate measurement required in note field.
Your garter should be perfectly
sized and comfortable. Be sure to choose the size that will fit you best.
Traditionally, the garter is worn about 3 inches above the knee. It should feel
soft and snug but not overly tight.
